Red Rose Centerpiece

Modern, festive, and oh so stylish, this globe of lush red roses makes a chic accent for the holidays. Low on effort and high on impact. Make one for the centerpiece, or several to flank the mantel corners or sofa tables, or group a bunch in different sizes to a tablescape tres chic!

Scatter votive candles down the table or mantel for instant glow. To be budget friendly, red or white carnations make a divine alternative.

You'll Need:

1 block of oasis foam
4 dozen red roses
knife
sissors or floral snips
candle pedestal for base

To Make:

Soak floral foam until completely wet. It will turn a darker shade of green and be heavier.
Cut the block in half , and then with the knife, cut the foam into a ball shape.
Using the snips or sissors, cut the roses to about 3-inches in length. Start with a rose at the top
point, and begin working out from there. Be sure the blooms are touching each other to create a lush full look.

When ball is covered with roses, place it on a candle pedestal or other footed display piece.
